Longview Habitat for Humanity gets $1,000 from Allstate agent | Business
On Tuesday, Longview Habitat for Humanity (LHFH) received $1,000.00 from the Gary Lawrence Insurance Agency and the Allstate Foundation‘s Hands in the Community Grant Program.
“We are honored to support and participate in an organization that has done so much for our community and helped so many families since its inception,” said Gary Lawrence.
An Allstate agent must volunteer with and recommend a charitable organization to the Allstate Foundation for consideration. The agency may only recommend one organization for the award annually.
“We delighted to learn that the Gary Lawrence Insurance Agency recommended that Habitat receive the grant! We are proud to have Allstate agents, Gary Lawrence and Linda Fullman as Habitat volunteers on the construction site and in the homeowner college classroom. Their gift of time is immeasurable. This year-end financial boost is a double blessing and deeply appreciated.”
