E TX man pleads guilty to Cass Co. bank robbery

MARSHALL, TX (KSLA) - An east Texas man faces up to 20 years in a federal prison after pleading guilty to bank robbery.

52-year-old Robin Marion Allen from Atlanta, TX made the plea Tuesday in Federal Court in Marshall.

Back on June 25, Allen borrowed a car and went to the Wells Fargo Bank on East Main Street in Atlanta. Inside the bank, Allen went to a teller window and gave the teller a hand-written note telling him to fill a black bag with cash. The teller put just under $2,000 cash into the bag and gave it to Allen.

A sentencing date has not been set.
