Tuesday, May 8, the Texas Department of Transportation brings travel supporters together to shine a spotlight on travel's impact on the state's employment and economy.
The State of Texas celebrates Travel Rally Day from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. and encourage visitors to stop by the Texas Travel and Information Center, in Waskom, Texas and pick up travel information, enjoy the numerous activities and entertainment provided throughout the day.
In addition to tourism information being distributed, visitors can enjoy the various activities and entertainment provided throughout the day.

- “Don’t Drink and Drive or Text” safety demonstrations
- Rod & Reel Casting Contest
