Rail of Lights New Year’s Train hits Jefferson, Texas | Arts & Culture

The City of Jefferson, Texas invites you to blast into the New Year while aboard the Rail of Lights New Year's Train.
Rides on this antique, narrow-gauge train will run each evening from December 27 to December 31.
Ticket Prices: First Class $18; Coach Class: Adults $15; Lap children under 4 are free. Pets may require a ticket depending on their size. First Class is offered in a beautiful historic, enclosed coach. If you are riding Coach Class, be sure to dress warmly and bring a blanket as you will be riding in open cars. Seats are limited, so purchase your tickets early.

Passengers will see lighted scenes along the Cypress Bayou River as they hear the tale of New Year’s traditions and customs. This event is pet-friendly so be sure to contact a depot agent to reserve a seat for your well-behaved, friendly pet.
The patrons will receive New Year’s hats and noisemakers. Each train will include a simulation of the New Year’s Eve Ball dropping in Times Square followed by a fantastic fireworks show.
Also, The Fun Brothers will be bringing three of their bounce houses to the Rail of Lights, providing entertainment at the depot the same nights as the train rides. They will have the Xcelerator, the Jousting Ring and the Sports Combo. One price includes all three bounce houses and is priced separately from the train ride at $5 for patrons with a train ticket and $10 for all others. (Cash only).
