Caddo Kennel Club holding Dog Show in May | Arts & Culture

Marshall's Caddo Kennel Club of texas will host its 3rd Annual AKC All-Breed Dog Show on May 5 and 6 at the Marshall City Arena, located at 3310 Poplar Street.

The show will feature Conformation, Obedience and Rally, and Owner-Handler (non-tiliting) competitions for dogs. Six-hundred entrants from across the nation are expected at the show, which will run both days from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event is free and there will be concessions and vendors at the show.

Events over the two day event include:

-- Owner-Handler - Breed - Group - Best in Show competition, non-titling competition for dogs exhibited by their owners that are not professional handlers on Saturday.
-- Veteran conformation competition Class, Group and Best in Show is on Sunday after Best in Show.
-- Friday afternoon entries will be accepted for a conformation fun match held Friday 5 PM. (All ages, Puppies 3-6 mos, 6-12 mos and open classes)
-- On Friday & Saturday there will be an obedience fun match and best brace following Best in Show.

Obedience and Rally include pure breed dogs and AKC canine partners.
